 Tan Fruit is an innovative venture from the seasoned winemaker, Jim Maresh of Arterberry Maresh, acclaimed for producing some of the finest Chardonnays in Willamette Valley, Oregon. In contrast to the family winery, which focuses on limited batches from estate-grown grapes, Tan Fruit broadens its horizons by sourcing diverse vineyards. With Tan Fruit, Maresh indulges his penchant for experimentation, exploring different winemaking techniques while retaining core principles like early picking, combined steel and oak aging, and bone-dry fermentation. The resulting Chardonnays, drawn from vineyards across the Willamette Valley, uniquely encapsulate Oregon's terroir.
